About Us

Debi Bauer is the owner of D M Bauer, LLC, a small, woman-owned management and business consulting firm providing leadership coaching, communications, training, enhanced sales and service delivery processes, as well as helping companies of all sizes deal with employee issues.

Ms. Bauer worked at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) for 19 years where she held technical and management positions before moving into performance coaching. She facilitated/coached sessions on organizational development concepts to leadership that positively affected employee satisfaction as well as enhanced the leaders’ capability to function more effectively as a team.

During her tenure with EDS and her own company, Ms. Bauer worked with a variety of clients providing planning and consulting services in the areas of change management, reengineering processes, leadership training, and personal coaching. In the course of providing these services, Ms. Bauer worked with clients on mitigating risks and impacts to business associated with large-scale change, such as organizational transformation and changes in clients’ business markets. She is a certified trainer in the Linkage Inc./William Bridges & Associates programs – Managing Organizational Transition and Individual Transition in Organizations.

As an Authorized Partner for Profiles International, Inc., Ms. Bauer helps her clients make better hiring decisions, maximize employee potential and productivity, reduce turnover, and minimize employee costs through the use of assessments.

Ms. Bauer’s career has honed her skills in assisting clients to improve the performance of individuals and leadership teams in the areas of communication, decision making, managing change, performance management, and results orientation. She is also skilled in the important function of Business Development and sales pipeline generation.

Ms. Bauer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. She has completed continuing education courses including Core Competencies of the Learning Organization from MIT, e-Business Strategies Workshop, Business Process Improvement, Business Process Reengineering, Project Management, and the Coaching Development Program at EDS. She was listed in Who’s Who in America and is a member of the National Association of Female Executives, Pike’s Peak Business and Professional Women, American Business Women’s Association Express Network, Women in Defense/NDIA, the Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce, and the Chamber’s Military Affairs Council.
